Our Federal representative has let us down!
Recent News:
For the last 17 years we of Nassau and Suffolk have seen our Tax dollars go to Washington and never return. Because of the support of programs like NAFTA we have seen our jobs go overseas. Long Island Companies outsourced our jobs, became competitive and soon found it too expensive to operate in our local. Businesses like Siemens, Motorola, Comvest, left under his watch. More Long Island based companies like North Fork Bank, Symbol and Hazeltine failed because it became too expensive to do business here. The Homeland Security funds did not supply our workers; instead the federal funds went to workers in New York City and the New Jersey ports.

How long can the hard working people of
Nassau and Suffolk
survive under
the King's 'Dark Age'?
Howard Kudler’ss
to Long Island
I am a strong
proponent of the Long Island Renaissance.
We were once called "Tech Island" and "Silicon Island" because of the our excellent in engineering and manufacturing. In the last 10 years, our officials and high taxes have driven most of our industries away to produce in cheaper nations and hire foreign workers. WE MUST fight to bring Industry back!
The "Green" economy is the next big wave in industry. It is my plan to catch that wave and turn our region into the greatest and most innovative center of light manufacturing the world has ever seen. Getting to ride that wave means the re-growth of our economy. But to do that we must be ready. Plans has been talked about and studied for years. NOW have the strength to make our vision come true. I plan for the rebirth of Long Island.
__________________________-->Rebuilding Long Island
If we rebuild it,
corporations will come. Repair the infra-structure and jobs and manufacturers
will choose to build in our communities. The tax burden will be taken off of
the home owner our schools will be refunded with the new wealth. Our
children will be able to afford
local homes and our community will be reborn.
My plan does not rely the revenue from Nassau and Suffolk property owners. I will use my knowledge of Economics, and my experience on Wall Street to craft legislation to encourage the Treasury Department to Issue Energy/Environment Bonds and Bills. These financial products will bring outside investor capital to repair our faltering infra-structure. We will build roads, rails, cargo natural power generation plants, and new air and sea ports. Long Island will become very attractive for the new age of efficient industry.
-->Illegal Immigration_____________________________
I do not agree with the immigration policies of President Obama.
I would offer the new immigrants a choice: To be deported back to their nation of origin or, to participate in a stepped program to earn their place in our society. My program would require both legal employment, and community or military service.
The privilege of living in America should come with responsibilities as well as rights.
-->KUDLER will not let our Social
Security_
system become privatized!
The Social Security system was first developed it was sparkling example of how a nation can care for its retired and/or disabled workers. Now if Republicans become the majority party in January will be those in Congress who turn over our Social Security Savings to the Wall Street Banks and Investment houses.
Social Security
should
not be privatized!
If you do not see the danger of privatizing a federal government program let me state this example: When Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were released from the watchful eye of government control they hired 500 lobbyists, became competitive with the other commercial institutions and lead our nation into the housing financial meltdown.

____________________-->A Woman's right to Choose
As written in our Declaration of Independence, we all
"...are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable
rights..."
We
are given eyes to see everything, ears to hear everything, and a mind to think
all thoughts. That document allows us us the right to make our own
choices. As a parent, I would not want that right of choice to be taken
away by a decision made by the United States government.
______________________________________-->Energy
I would encourage government based capital
initiatives for ‘green’ energy manufacturers to take root on here on Long Island.
· I would encourage the growth of Nano tech based solar and electrical based industries here in Nassau and Suffolk. We already have the research being done at LI based universities and Brookhaven National Lab. In this way there is no need for our young engineering students. We could then return to a status of a High Tech business Island and our keep our new, younger taxpayer base from leaving Long Island).
· I would encourage Wind farming centers in Shoreham and other “Brown Field" areas to encourage the reclamation of the land. These centers would also be given incentives to manufacture their own components in order to promote their growth.
· I would encourage and invite European and Asian tech businesses back to the Island.
· In Congress, I would insist that cost of these new projects not become a burden to our tax system. I would sponsor a bill that would allow the treasury department to develop a new financial instrument called an E/E (Environmental/Energy) bonds. These would be tax free financial products that would spur new investment and economic growth.
On Reducing our CARBON FOOT PRINT:
THE FIGHT TO PROTECT US FROM MORE OIL SPILLS --I would crusade to phase out fossil fuel consumption in ever growing autos and industry.
· I would be in favor of a moratorium on the expansion of deep well drilling too close to our shores while seeking greener, sustainable energy sources.
WE must also stop natural gas companies from forcing CO2 back into the ground. History has shown that the containment eventually will leak out and may impact our on the soil and fresh water supplies.
